Another Site Closes

I am sure we won't have any problem here. This is a social site. The site I am talking about wasn't like an interaction site. It was for "journalism".

I have tumblr it sucks

@fishtiger58 Thanks fishtiger. I forgot about textbroker. I am a member there. I don't remember iwriter.com. I am glad to see you back today. I was having trouble seeing yesterday. I think allergies again. I noticed you weren't around though. I was thinking about pm'ing you, but I couldn't remember if you were going out this weekend or something. LOL

@mommaj I looked them up. iwriter.com and text broker I believe.

@mommaj I think having a good plan and management is important. Though some people said mylot is a slow earning site, it's well established and I think the management is good, hence I have not heard about any missing payments or any major issues before. Perhaps this is the reason mylot can still survive after so many years. If a site just pays us fast, but can't sustain for long, it might not be good for us too. We might be earning a lot for a short period, then we might lose more.

@kaka135 I think we don't have to worry about it. LOL

I am glad they are able to support the community as well. I guess some sites just take too much money to run. The people hosting them and administering them want something for their troubles I am sure. My guess is this particular site did not have enough members and enough readers for views.

LOL. With that comparison I am never getting on a ship.

It is Elite Writer's. It is going to close April 16th.

@just4him Yes. It would have paid well if there were enough people there to make a difference. LOL It was paying by comments and page views. I was looking forward to seeing how much I could make. LOL

@mommaj I haven't heard of that one. Was it also a pay site?

A lot of the writing sites have done the same things. I guess they haven't figured out the kinks yet..

@1hopefulman Actually, I just started there. LOL I don't think I would have done too well because there weren't that many people on there. LOL

It is. What I found was a writing site. That was what I was looking for. LOL Then it closed. LOL

@mommaj I'm really confused by what's going on with that site because so far it's still open. With all the uncertainty I'm glad I'm not a member though.

@Gina145 Yes I sent a message to the "contact us" there. I received two messages back, saying the site is still open, they have changed their minds for now. LOL What does that mean? Once more people have money in their accounts, then they will close? HAHAHA

@davidalicea100 That you do not want to join. I just saw a post on here that said the reason they were going to close down is one of the owners took the money and ran. LOL

Well, that is probably true. The only thing I see different is that an online business pays commission. They should plan enough ahead to be able to pay their expenses. Seriously, how much could that be if one person owns and operates a site. LOL I will say I am sure it takes more than one person to run a site. LOL

I went there a couple weeks ago and I thought it would be profitable. Obviously, not.

This one seems to be stable. I hope it doesn't go anywhere either.

LOL. I wish I could find one. That was the only one I knew of and I just found out about it. LOL Which either that is my luck or I am bad luck for the sites. LOL I really can't say that. I was with Associated Content for several years.
