Things Are Never What They Seem

I posted this photo a long time ago on a defunct site because it's not what it seems. It looks like a great shot of a UFO, but it's just the light globe on the ceiling that is reflected on the kitchen window that I took the photo through.
The world is often not what it seems.
I read the news, or does the news read me? Do the writers of headlines read my interests and spoonfeed me just the sorts of stories I want to read? Probably. It's the same as showing me ads for products I have recently shopped for. Facebook is tracking me, Google is tracking me, everyone is tracking me. What I don't understand is why they haven't seemed to have learned anything from me yet. I post some highly educational content on Facebook.
The world is full of people who do and say what they think will make them appear to be good and popular with whatever people are in charge of determining what is good and popular.
Being hypocritical is now perfectly acceptable but rarely understood to be hypocrisy.
The news leaves me alternately angry and bemused.
And I guess that if I read the headlines my trackers think I will be interested in, I am just being the mindless mouse-clicking lemming they think I am.
Maybe that is a UFO in the photo.
Things are not always what they seem.

@Rollo1 hey, maybe we need to fly UFO's to get away from the life force guiding society onto peril? Lol.

Well said. Now those who read your post will be tracking you, lol. Surely nothing is how it seems when those in position of power want society funnels what they want the masses to get lost in superficial, mind dumbing tasks.

@Rollo1 might be both considering our thoughts are created from the world in which we interact in. To say we want something is a bit of misnomer because if we did, would it be what is given to us?
I think your question is a great one for the masses who simply exist in a world and accept life created for them. What exactly does one want when what they desire is available, and that which unavailable, exists not, therefore, is not life.

No they aren't and it has turned me into a terrible skeptic. I hardly trust anyone and that is a sad thing

There are some photos of people who claim they saw Bigfoot. I honestly think those photos are of extra big bears etc. I don't think Bigfoot exists.

That did turn out to be a cool picture @Rollo1 . I don't deal with Facebook or any of the others and when I watch the news on TV, I mostly just shake my head.

Things really never what they seem.at times. I know someone who is the best Sales Head in the eyes of the Bosses but the worst in the eyes of those under him. Sigh... such a hypocrite.
