Color For A Gloomy Day

It's another gloomy day. We are supposed to get slightly warmer temperatures but we are going to have rain. My flowers are doing well despite the colder temperatures we have had for the past few days. Some of my flowers got knocked down due to the high winds.
I wanted to share this African Daisy with you all, taken a couple of years ago right after a rain and before the flower opened for the day.

Our temps have been going up and down for days now. I wish it would settle down and give us the correct spring temps.

We had sleet this morning. Not sure what to expect this afternoon!! This year is definitely is the oddest weather wise that I have ever seen!

@fishtiger58 us too..one day the heat has to be on, the next day my windows are open and vice versa. Crazy!!!

I wish we have a few more days of heavy rain.
Yesterday we had a few hours of heavy rain, but that was after a month or more of hot and sunny weather.
I think after this El Nino is over, La Nina will bring us tons of rain and we will be soaked through and through.

@fishtiger58 I took a picture of the sunrise yesterday morning, thankfully, because I have to look at that today to see a sunrise! Once I get a minute to put it on the computer I plan to use it for a discussion, its one of those awww pictures and I'm sure that there will be people happy to view it.
We are going to have rain in the next little while. I hope it holds off until after 1pm because we have some potential buyers coming thru the house between 12 and 1 and I have to go out for that time frame.

@fishtiger58 i'd sure be tickled to get't, hon. 'course, the folks'n calif tried to send me rain 'n it went to colorado 'n the other neighborin' states got horrible weather - tornado's, floods, monster hail storms - so i reckon i'll jest sit'n try to be quiet 'bout my drought conditions.

@crazyhorseladycx It's very rare for us not to get rain around here. I remember in 1988 we had a short drought but usually not.

@fishtiger58 We're in the low 40's. I think the rain has stopped, but I haven't been outside to find out. Though I will be leaving in under an hour for church. AWANA tonight.

I have never seen an African Daisy I don't think ~ It's beautiful, the photo & the vibrant orange! It is gloomy here also and will be for the next few days - raining!

You do take the best macro photos, I still have not mastered this skill!! I love the water drops on the daisy, so lovely.

That is such a pretty color! I was wondering what it was. With it being so gloomy outside, a splash of color just might brighten up our day lol!
