I once told you how worred I was and you laughed at me.
You asked me does that make things better Patty?
I had no answer cause my dear you never stressed out
You smiled, you wrapped me in your arms as I pout.
You the ultmate positive thinker told me live just for today
Yesterday is history honey, tomorrow is not yet in play
So live and be happy dear just for today
i miss that smile dear, heavens too far away.
I found a snapshot of y ou in my bill fold,so dear you looked
That silly goatee you shaved awa y just for me I was hooked
We were friends, best friends, lovers and friends ou bragged
You loved it that we were best friends your love never sagged
So dear Im widowed so long are you up there watching me?
Sometimes I feel you like a warm hug when I feel a bit down
Telling me not to stress it will all come around
After you died soon you came back to assure me fine y ou will be.
So today I write this to you in heaven where y ou are
Do you charm the angels make them laugh?
Do you tell all your stories where you're the star?
They saw all your wonderfull goodness amid the chaff One original In Memoriam tribute to G arland Hatley died March 26 1991 and one original graphic by P Hatle y both copyrighted 2016
