Shampoo Dilemma

Honestly I never thought that buying a shampoo could pose such a dilemma.
My favourite brand is Sunsilk but when I go to buy shampoos I am horribly confused. One type promises nourishing soft and smooth hair, the other thick and long. Another one promises to stop hair fall and yet another one offers to banish dandruff.
Another bottle will make my hair shiny, thicker and abundant.
But i guess I am a greedy person. I have long, dark hair and i want my hair to be soft and smooth, lusciously thick and long, free of dandruff and naturally no hair fall AND be long, strong and abundant, all at the same time.
Is it really asking for too much?
So should I buy all seven bottles and use a drop from each for desired results or will something explode in my scalp?
How do you select a shampoo?

How do you manage to get all the shampoos till date?
If every time you buy shampoo, you get confused, I wonder how you manage to get anything done!
For me, it is simple because I have dandruff problem.
I have to use Head & Shoulder because that is the only brand that can get rid of the dandruff problem.
I buy the menthol shampoo.

i think you should know the hair style like oily or non-oily.
and then to choose the shampoo according hair style.
different shampoo, it works different effective.
you could go to see a skin doctor to test your skin.

I usually use pick one that is cheaper, or has a purpose. Right now I use a color shampoo by Suave.

Hello Dawnwriter. Shampoo has to be tried to be true to you as a good choice. I look at what the shampoo claims to do and its ingredients. I am aware of the benefit of some ingredients and avoid many of those I do not want or need. I try to get a shampoo that caters to my hair type and when I use the product I see what it does to my hair and scalp. After finding these things out, I condition as needed and keep the shampoos that work for me.

You should go for something that you are satisfied with regardless of how many new brands come up in the market
