I came across some doctors. Some says they are MBBS, some says MD, and some MS. I actually can't understand who is higher in knowledge ?

Many doctors specialize in addition to obtaining their MD degree. In some cases they go to school many years past standard medical school to pursue their own specialty in their chosen field. A DO, for examplea doctor of osteopathy, goes an average of 2 years further than your local MD in order to specialize in the field of bones and ligaments and the related field of chiropractic care. These other monikers are probably similar specialists....
