I too stayed home. I hate crowds and I already have all my Christmas shopping done, (don't I make you sick)and I put up my Christmas tree and decorations over the holiday weekend. I shop all year round and that way when I see something I know somebody would like I get it and stash it away in the closet. I keep a list of what I get for each person so I stay on my budget. I also get good deals by shopping ahead of time. I already have some of my presents wrapped too, I have to mail some back east. I like to be able to relax and wrap gifts, (I have lots to wrap!!)and then just sit back and stare at the Christmas tree and all the presents.

Actually you don't make me sick.
I am done too, Christmas shopping...though I always end up picking other things when I see them. I am horrible about that lol.
Now I can't wrap until later, I want to be in the mood for it!! We'll decorate this weekend :)

I decided not to venture out today to the stores but I am going out soon to my bowling league this evening so I am sure there will be traffic. I heard this morning that there was about 10,000 people at our shopping mall at 3am in the morning. Is that sick? LOL

Originally we were not going to go out but we needed to get diapers for our daughter and a coller for 1 of my kittens. So we made it worth it and picked up a few more things we needed.

Hey there. We didn't go shopping. We don't have plans to celebrate Christmas due to our financial situation. :( We didn't even have Thanksgiving.

I went and got some minor deals.
Got a Golden Tee Game for my brother like the one that is in bars but plugs into your TV, MSRP is $70, got it for $30
Got a 100 pack of Dynex DVD-R's for $4.99 at Best Buy when they normally sell for $69.99 there.
Got some kids toys for 50% off as well.
No huge deals for me, but still was fun. The crowds aren't that bad to deal with actually.

No way did I go out into that!!!!
It is way too crazy! I have been on the other end of it as a manager in retail. And I can tell you, this can be the most fun when it is busy but also most stressful because customers are angery if they can't find something or think it is the wrong price.
Word of advice to those shopping this season, don't get angery. The manager does not have ti help you if you get hostile and will do everything in his or her power to help you if you are nice.
