Can you believe today is yes, No Housework Day. If you normally do all the housework around the house Stop and don't do anymore today. Kick back and relax and let your significant other do the housework then maybe he/her will appreciate how much you do and no longer take you for granted. He/she will then find out housework is a daily, seemingly endless and repetitive groups of tasks. If the dishes aren't done, or there's no clean towels, somebody always seems to notice. Do you like this Day???

What a sadistic day to celebrate. There is little doubt that this was inaugurated by women.

@Marcyaz I think that it is about time that we started a Men’s Liberation movement. I did consider chaining myself to the railings in the city centre, but I expect that people would just laugh at me or throw tomatoes.

@Asylum Sadistic no way. Why should women be the ones to do all the housework when men are just as capable Oh wait maybe they aren/t as capable.

This comes in too late for me... (coming from the other end of the world has its disadvantages) I have already done the laundry, done the lunch and even the dish washing...

I hate doing house work! I avoid it at all costs and I have been successful in not doing a lick of chores for about a week now, do I feel bad? nope :-)

It is good in theory, but I figure since HE works out of the home the bulk of the housework is mine to do.

I'm not a big housework person and neither is the roomie. Dust? It'll just come back... However, this morning I woke up to a broken dish, so some sweeping had to be done! Really I need to do more, but I'm still recovering from Saturday's heat exhaustion!

@Marcyaz I am the only one that can get things done. So, I have no one to see what I do except my Sophie but she does not really care.
