why do ppl ask stupid questions on mylot?

just because they question is stupid to you, doesnt mean that it is stupid to the person that wrote it. everybody's intellect is different.

What questions do you think are stupid? How do you know they are stupid to the one that started a discussion? There could be some on here that would think this question you have made a discussion with is stupid. It is not for us to guess why, but for us to pick out the ones that interest us and respond. If one on the list seems stupid, just dont post there, pick the ones that fit your interests. I believe that is what MyLot told us when we first signed up, choose and post discussions that we are interested in.

some stupid topics are required to make us smile...otherwise replying to only serious topics wont be that much good..u need to have a laugh or two...

I think ppl post stupid questions because they really don't know what to ask, all they have to do is think about it

I agree there are lots of stupidity here, sometimes the questions are so weird it may become fun... but the point is: many people only want the money, they don't even think before asking...I usually try to select questions, and answer those that looks interesting and inteligent, or even useful...

may I ask who are you to judge whether a question is stupid or not? Do you think your question is stupid?

I think it's does't matter to post any question. That's the freedom. May be your question is included a stupid one. The most important is they've tried to post something in their mind. What is in their mind show who they are.

I don't think it matters what the questions are about, and of course people go on this site to make money, but its nice to be able to be serious and get things off your chest and sometimes it's good to be silly and have some fun-that's life, isn't it? If you don't like it, don't look at it!

Stupid questions on mylot is because many come to the site with the only intention of making money.Writing for long time will make the work boring.Eventually they loose the ability to think.So stupid questions on mylot arises.

people ask stupid questions on mylot because they know there wud be definitely some stupids who wud reply to their stupid discussions. and i doubt am i being a little stupid...

You hit it right on the head..any questions to get points. We encourage them by answering those question. Be better if we ignored them. They would get no points and hopefully try to come up with better questions.

See, this is an open discussion. If you think some questions are stupid enough, then don't respond. Respond only to those things that interests you. If they have "Stupid Questions", as you may say, they will not get response or will get very few...I hope you don't mind if they really want to earn money or that is their level of thinking...so don't judge ok?

becuz on these kind of genral questions all can participate but if u ask question about economics, finance, mathmatics, biology and specialized subjects like these only fewer people will participate.

I totally agree. People post the most retarded stuff that doesnt diserve a reply. Some people dont even ask a question just state a subject. I dont wanna hear peoples crap. Start a discussion of dont post simple as that.

because no matter how genius or intelligent a person is, there's this side in each one of us which is stupid. plus stupidity isn't wrong. it's one way of enjoying the discussions. too boring to be so serious about anything, right? oh, okey. i find it stupid too when people are only up to how they could earn money. hehehe. isn't it better to enjoy the conversation than being so stuck to increasing your ratings?
