Stormy Weather

This morning we had a strong thunderstorm, that has brought back cold air and a lot of rain.
I was not in the mood to go out, but this is my grocery shopping day and I finally had to go to the store.
A cold unpleasant wind, has chilled me to the bones. I have been more than happy when I finally have been back home.
To warm me up I prepared a hot coffee and milk that I have served with a delicious piece of chocolate and orange cake.
Now I feel much better and I cannot get back to read your discussions.
What is your comfort food when you need to warm your body?

Anna, your post and picture have just reminded me that I have some chocolate eclairs in the fridge. So now I'm off to make a cup of tea and my husband and I will enjoy the eclairs.
It's a bit chilly and rainy here too, but we haven't had the storm that you have.

First of all you should not tempt us with a picture of delicacies and a hot cup of tea, without inviting us.
Sudden storm brought down the temperature and you had a tough time going outside your home. Hope you would have enjoyed your hot cup of tea with cake. Summer season has started here and now we need to arrange for cold (soft) drinks and fruits like watermelon, melon and mangoes etc. to keep ourselves cool.

@LadyDuck I mistakenly wrote tea instead of coffee. Right now you are enjoying cool weather over there.

@dpk262006 Today is warmer, we have no wind and the sun is back. I think that in a couple of weeks we can eat outside under our porch.

It will be hot cocoa or hot tea to drink Anna.
To eat it is usually a very hot curry that I make and is so easy to make.
If not some Lipton noodle soup.
Sorry you got chilled my friend..hope you do not get sick with it.
Keep warm and toasty now.

@LadyDuck I'm not sure but here they are given to babies to help the cut new teeth. I started to love them when my kids were babies and have bought them every since!

just a cup of warm coffee will make me warm. aside from that, I can wear my sweater and put my feet up on a chair. but it is so hot in here so I don't think I can do that now

@LadyDuck in your country, I think rain is better than snow right?

@iamshane487 Yes, absolutely, I would not want to see snow in April, this would kill the fruits on the trees.

@LadyDuck I really like the grocery service that delivers your groceries right to your door, except I wouldnt buy my meat from there i need to be there in person to pick it out.
