The Motivation to Continue On

I live in clouds of dreams, constantly thinking of motivating words to keep me pushing through life. I write these words and share with others not because I choose to strike Internet gold, but to stimulate minds, to lift the vail government and corporations have on society.
Many of us rise and fall like ocean tides, existing in this world for reasons unknown. If true for you, what motivates you to continue moving forward if not for family or friends? Surely, something deep in your soul drives you to do what you do, right?

Hi Joshua. Quite simply, life itself is motivation. Just think, somehow, someway, you...exist. You can know the beauty of nature, the support of family, and the loyalty of friends. These things may give you reason to express your gratitude and make you wonder. Well, in my opinion, if you feel you need a place to express yourself and talk about things that provoke interest and make you wonder, mylot may be one.

Very well said. You see, it falls back on family and friends, although you mentioned nature. The question I posed is rhetorical, so I left out family and friends because that assumes we are motivated most with these people in or around life, but what if family and friends didn't exist, would nature suffice for the motivation to press on?

@Cintronwriter I believe in the power of nature. The warmth of the sun, White Christmases, a welcoming shade tree, rainbows after an unexpected rain, and the ocean have made me priviledged to know the beauty of nature. I have experienced these things during times when family and friends were not close by, and knew I was not alone.

Aside from my family and friends what motivates me is the world. I really just want to travel and explore what is it like to be in other places....
