The Ponytail that transformed into a bun

Clip In Man Bun...an attachable hairpiece lets you have a man bun when you want it and take it off when you don’t. Can someone please explain this to me? Give me a good rational/explanation. I am not being disrespectful/rude I am just trying to understand the need for this when one can grow their hair and style it to look this way. And I am not sure of the comfort for a man having this clip.
Things that make me go hmmmm

I have seen them but really there are some ancient cultures who had this hairstyle for me..so I guess every fashion trend keeps coming back.

I wonder...I have seen some of the soccer players with a bun. Just dont know if it is theirs or not. I would think that it could be a safety rule of some kind. I would hate the contraption doesnt hit someone in the eye or become an obstacle on the floor.
