I became vegan in November 6 in 2012 This was the best decision that I ever made in my entire life I am very happy with my life because I know that no animals had to die to feed me. I feel energized and in peace with the universe we are part of the circle of life, we have to respect nature and all the animals need to be respected and treated with love

That sound really awesome! I always think of going vegetarian but my doctor says that it isn't the best idea because of medical reasons. I do however not eat pork or beef because it makes me sick. I'm so happy for you.

@AlwaysPositive Trust me, yes it is good because there are certain hormones that people need. Do not always say it is bad for EVERYONE'S health. Because it simply isn't the truth. Mine is the lack of hormones in my body and I need meat hormones and proteins from meat to keep me from going into a coma caused by hypothyroidism. Yes, cutting meat is very healthy, but do not tell people that they should not eat meat when you have no idea what their diet is.

@DesirousDreamer Felicia the protein from meat comes from the plants, cows eat grass, they get the protein from plants, when you eat meat you are eating a second hand protein. Broccoli has more protein than meat.

@LoriAMoore I'be been vegan for 4 years, and I know people who are vegan since forever and they never have to go to doctors, they are strong and healthy. Doctors want your money and want you to keep going to them. Everything is a business, doctors, health insurance, pharmacies. I recommend you to watch Fork over knives on Netflix and read the China Study.

@silvermist One of my facebook friends show me a video on you tube: The best speach you will ever hear by Gary Yoroufsky on you tube when he explain everything about vegan ism and why we should be vegan in the way that that day my whole family turned vegan in that same day. You should watch that video, it's amazing! And that was the best day of our lives! I am so happy and thankful to my friend that show me that video on November 6th 2012.

Sure! What do you need the most right now? Recipes? Protein ideas? fitness? There is so much information about veganism all over the web, and many vegan options to choose. It's not that hard to keep a vegan diet, all you have to do is to have the determination, the love for the animals, it is very important that you do it for the animals, not for the diet, so you will succeed. Basically, everything is replaceable and most of the time it even tastes better than a regular non vegan option.

I´m flexitarian. I still eat meats for nutrition. When I started flexitarianism, I remember having the feeling of hunger in my stomach, but over time, my system got used to it and I was able to include more vegetables and fruit in my diet. Now, there are days when I only eat fruits and vegetables without the feeling of emptiness on my stomach
