Best time of our lives

Every so often when I see something on television I start thinking about things. Today something hit me and I wondered how many people ever think about the best time of their lives.
I think I have a few of those times but I really believe the very best was when I was in high school and right after I graduated. Life was so simple then.
I had so may friends and we were such a close knit group. I had strict parents and always had a curfew and rules but I was not in a rowdy crowd. Never went out drinking. I guess anyone on the outside of my group would call us boring but we enjoyed ourselves.

Same here. Never was a party girl or drinker.

The best time of my life is my current life. I have a wonderful Christian family. I married a wonderful husband and gifted by God with one loving son.
But I also will not miss recollecting my beautiful childhood memories and high school days where I met my first boyfriend who is now my husband for 30 years now.

i am not the adventurous type but i do think that ive got few of those times as well. i miss the times when i was living alone back in college. i had to figure everything out on my own and laugh at myself most of the time. i also love that time when i didnt have a boyfriend and all i did was treat myself and enjoy at work. and now as i am writing this, i now remember a lot of those happy days..

I have different pockets of time in my life like that. I was a stress ball most of my childhood life - so it really wasn't then. After I started college, I found a job that suited me well. I broke out of my shell and found that close knit group of friends I always wanted. I learned a lot and had loads of fun - I enjoyed/appreciated more pockets of life since that time.

I reflect on my best and worst experiences a lot as a writer needs to do that to gain material - I am highly introspective anyhow

I am still boring - I don't like going out to drink or clubbing either.

High school life was indeed sooooo fun. :) back in my high school, we're only 6 in the classroom. 3 male and 3 female, for 4 years (in my country high school is 4 yrs) we became so close and treated each other like family. But when we started college things became busy and now we rarely see each other. :(
