Just interact. That is the key. Keep in mind that what you post or write doesn't earn you anything. You earn from the responses and comments you recieve! Post a discussion. Go to other people's discussions and respond to as many as you can. Most of them would come back on yours to respond. Sitting and waiting doesn't work. Interact and interact. And don't expect to make riches here on mylot. It is not possible. Most you can do is for ex: if you are making a dollar a day then it is $ 30 a month . If you get half a dollar a day then $15. It all depends on how much interaction you partake in and recieve.
