Do you read other’s response after going through the main discussion/content?

I most of the time manage to go through the responses of the people after I finish reading the discussion. It actually exposes me to the different perspective of people and that broadens my way of thinking as well. So I am gonna make sure I go through most of the responses for the discussion. What about you people? Do you read opinions of others? Or do you only mention your opinions in the discussion?

@LdeL0318 I've not seen that kind of thing exist here much in the past. It depends on the person though I suppose. Some say the more the merrier? Depends on the topic?

I sometimes read other responses if I really don't understand the discussion itself. :) It actually helps. :)

Yes. I usually do this unless there are a ton of rezponses. Like I will not sift through 35+ responses. That is just too many.

Well, Yes i go through to each and every reply to any discussion because (i) You got to know the level of thinking of the individual. (ii) If you go at the deeper side, the way an indidivual replies, you got to know about the values he/she stands upon.

@hydraa,Despite acute lack of time,I first go through the discussions and try to understand what the initiator wants to convey. Then and then only I respond to it.And if I have nothing to say,I prefer to leave it and proceed ahead.

Well, I read opinions. specially if it's my discussion. The reason I read other responses is the same as your perspective - to broaden my knowledge and to understand that each and every person have different opinions on something.

I guess, everyone reads the comments on their discussion. I was mainly targeting reading comments on other's discussion.

I go through most of the responses because that allows me to analyse different perspectives on the same point. I have an eye for catching up responses that are interesting or add meaning or add new dimension to the post. I am able to scan through what I need not read.
