Starting a New Dental Practice - Real Pain.......

April 9, 2016 3:57am CST
Though it has been just over a month since i have started my new dental clinic, But I tell u, IT'S A REAL PAIN. You have to deal with each and every petty issue on your own. No help from anywhere. What used to seem to be a merit when i was in job has now started seeming a demerit - "Decision making". I have to make all the decisions on my own, and obviously, have to be responsible for whatever is the outcome. I have been into practice for last six years, and was earning fine in my job. I bagged many awards and recognition of national and international fame through my Job. But just thought of starting my own practice. And so, left the job and set up my own clinic. But in just one month span, I feel like totally drained. I have invested so much as i wanted to set up a clinic with all the ultramodern facilities in dentistry. But b'coz of "Not so overwhelming" response, i have started doubting my decision. I know its too too early to think so as any new business takes some time to settle and obviously 1 month is just not enough..... But i feel little depressed..... :( :(

I think you love/like the profession you chose. Keep in your mind that whatever problems you are facing right now, just smile and tell yourself "I can do this". Believe in yourself and stop doubting with your decisions. You are just starting. You're right! businesses usually takes time to grow. If you can't stop other people with their negativity with your decisions , then , Make It As Your Motivation To Drive Further. . Prove to yourself and to other people that you can do it.
