Aww Summer has officially started here in the Philippines! Just got back home from a refreshing nature escapade with my friends. It was so hot today and I needed to find a way to freshen up. So, we went to the falls nearby and had a picnic there then we went swimming and jumping off the rock. It's a great day somehow! How's your day?

I think the nearest place where you can find falls in Makati is Rizal. Somewhere in Antipolo or nearby. Unless there are falls around the metro.

@clai101,It's severely hot here.Temperature in our area has crossed 41 C and they say it will go up in the days to come.Going out in this fiery hot noon is almost impossible.For us,it's a fiery hot day.

Very nice. I love that dress, if that is you in your picture. Very pretty! Seems like we must run on opposite seasons. Here it is far too cold for swimming. HOpe it cools down for you soon.

I just bought a gallon of ice cream (coffee crumble) to beat the heat after that one cone of dirty ice cream did not do much to lower the temperature

@clai101 we all wanted to buy more dirty ice-cream after the first round but the ice cream man was gone when we came out, so i told my family and the kids that I'm gonna buy a gallon in a nearby store to end our miseries from the heat

I really like your picture, I wish I was there. It seems like every other post I read is about the heat and how its getting hot where they live..summer is stalling over here and I am very jealous you have the sun shining and the warmth by your side. It cant come fast enough for me. I almost want to go some where tropical because I cant wait for summer to get here

Sunday just started and I'm talking to my friend now. We're both crying while trying to reminisce happy memories. Happy tears. =)
