I feel like a single mom because my husband barely cares for his son. It seems to be all about him

Completely relate here. My ex husband would use my flaws as an excuse for not doing his part, "Well if you were more like..." Or "if you did this then I might take care of them". People tend to assume that married moms have it made and get all sorts of help with their kids. Of course it doesn't help when boys are raised seeing their dad's sit still while mom does all the work.

@cupkitties I agree. About 50% of men out there only use women to make sure they take care of their kids and make food and so on. Mine is super lazy and a big hoarder and I hate it.

The laws do not protect the parental rights of unwed, single dads in many states. So some guys feel like it's not worth it. Yes, I know "Well, they shouldn't have done the deed".and I don't understand why they take such a risk.. With the laws in place against them, if I were a single man I'd sooner date other men or invest in a blow up doll than impregnate any woman in this country.

It will definitely be hard but don't worry because you'll be able to carry it.
