Urgent Prayers

I just got a phone call from my sister. I'm headed to the hospital. My dad is dying. Prayers that I get there in time.
It looks like all plans for tomorrow have changed. My brother is picking me up because I have no idea where this hospital is. I've never been there. Though I do know the way to the city where he is.
They are keeping him comfortable.
I have no idea where my thoughts are right now. Mom passed in October and now Dad is going to be with Jesus. That's the only comforting thing in my hasty retreat tonight.
Thanks for your prayers. I'll be back tomorrow to let you all know the details. If I can think straight.

Your Dad is going to meet your Mom soon again. And they both would be in the care of Lord himself. Honour him with a farewell full of love and smiles. May Christ be with you all in this difficult time.

Thank you @Daljinder. He'll be with her soon. We left after a couple hours. We said our goodbyes and talked to the doctor. He said it could be hours to days, so we came home. I know the next time the phone rings it will be the news of his passing. Either that or my daughter who I also called to let her know about her grandfather.

@just4him Oh! Then I would pray that he has a quick and peaceful passing. I am sure he had a good and happy life. And I hope his final hours would be peaceful too. Prayers going out for you all too.

@just4him I know how difficult it can be to say goodbye to a loved one who is going on to be with the Lord.
It's a blessing that your family had this time to be with your dad before he passes. I pray your family will be surrounded by the peace that passes understanding.

Thank you. As of right now he is still with us. The doctor said it could be hours to days. We stayed with him for over two hours and said our goodbyes. He will soon be with Mom, and I'm still expecting that final phone call from either my sister or brother about his passing.
