Feels good to be in the country even just for hours

I was just in the metro earlier but now I'm spending some time with my dad here in our country home. I traveled for 2 hours to get here but its worth the effort. The weather and the atmosphere here is different than in the big city. It's not so hot and it's relatively quiet. I am a city woman but I always long to be in the country to bond with my dad and experience a relaxing atmosphere

I was born and raised in a city. Both of my parents are from two different cities, that is why I do not much know about countrysides. I got an experienced to visit that part when we won in a competition. I was able to stay there for a week. The air is fresh and there wasn't much vehicles. The only flaw was I could not connect much to my family online. I hope my daddy was just in the countryside so it will be easy to visit him. He passed away one year ago and whenever I see a post about father, it makes me miss him more. You are very fortunate that you still have a father. Cherish every moment with him.

I see to it that I get to visit my dad every weekend, the travel time isn't that long. Yes, I'm getting the same problem when I'm here in the country, the internet connection slows down. There are times that the service is totally gone.

I totally agree with you. Being in the country side can be refreshing because it takes us away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city life.

I was born in Manila and grew up in Manila and Metro Manila, i really miss going to the provinces of my parents and grand parents, we use to go there often, North and South of the Philippines, we seldom do now because of work and time constraints. I miss the clean air and different kinds of food and drinks

Same here, I was born in Manila and spending all my life in Metro Manila - used to be in Quezon City, then currently in Makati. I'm here in Batangas at the moment. Air is fresher here, and my favorite buko is cheaper, although this is free in my parents' origin at the down south part of Phils.

That's great that you took time out to visit your dad. The City is a place I'm use to. I don't know how I would fair in the country.

Truly, what the country side can offer in terms of pure breathing air, no urban city can.

There's much pollution in the city and the weather can be really so hot that I can't stand staying all day in my room even if the electric fan is running

Yes, whenever I can. We children shouldn't miss to make an effort to visit our parents. We are their joy, and they are ours.
