Wow they loved it too

For months I've had trouble feeding my dogs because they seem to leave a huge pile of left overs. Although Jolen one eats dried dog food, the pluffy one doesn't like it. But one time, there was really nothing to feed them, except the veggie soup I recently cooked. I gave it try since it's just my left over along with some rice. When I gave these to them, it took less than 5 minutes for them to consume it proved that they liked it. My motivation to eat more of this vegetable soup just went up because now even my dogs love it. All of three will be more motivated to eat this kind of soup for the rest of the year

You'll end up with healthier dogs as well!!! Anyway, won't it be cheaper and better for the dogs if they just stick to dog food?

@Letranknight2015 ok. I always thought that feeding dog food to dogs makes most sense since dog food is cheaper and has the correct nutritional value for dogs unlike regular human food.

@allen0187 Unfortunately, my dogs aren't eating them. But now they can eat vegetables, Im going to do it everyday so they can be healthy in the long run.

NO, Dog food are even more expensive now @allen0187 than ever compare at least three to four years ago. The recipe for this only cost less or more than a dollar a day, at least they eat it with out hesitation unlike dog food. I've tried it so many times, most of the time, they just ignore it. even with the vitamins i gave them, if they don't like it, they won't eat it.

Once I have a friend who own a few dogs. She would not give them meat. She just cooked vegetables and rice to feed them, and they were very healthy, living to 16 years.

@Letranknight2015 Having dogs that live to 16 years is no joke. They suffer from old age problems, such as joint pain, and they walked around the house limping. Plus they smelt bad. In the end, my friend got the vet to put down the dogs, else they will deteriorate slowly and still would not die.

Hello @scheng1 wow 16 years? I better keep feeding them with this veggie soup, I noticed my dog is more active than she used to be. Maybe I should stop feeding them with meat anymore.

When given human food, my dog would leave out all the vegetables. :-) I joined a Dog Lovers group on Facebook and some of the dogs there are on a vegetable diet. They seem to like carrots. My dog eats a combination of wet and dry dog food, plus human food. She gets tired of eating the same things over and over again. My vet discouraged me from feeding my dog human food, but sometimes it's so nice to give her a treat. She eats pancit and rice, but never vegetables.

Hello @katcarneo Yeah, the dogs seemed to have a habit of not eating their food when it's over and over again. But I think with the vegetable soup, they can go on forever eating it. It was meant to be a last resort since i got nothing to feed them. well, dried and wet dog food prices had increase so much that I barely buy a kilo of it.

@Letranknight2015 we have not yet tried giving our dogs some vegetables as their viand, but the cooked meat or saw dust we buy at Monterey. I will yell my sister if it is possible to feed our 3 dogs with veggies. the forevermore siblings Xander and Macy and Zeus and Darna eat granules dog food, but Chibi, Thor, and Trixie eat rice with cooked meat
