I don't have kids on my own but some of you knows that my 3yr old nephew lives with me since birth. Soon, he will have to move on and live with his mom if things will improve.
Anyway, today he came in to my room and hugged me for a while. We watched TV and played a game on my phone. We soon moved on to the kitchen as we became hungry.
We didn't bond for how many days and i'm glad we did today cause he also showed me that he's now learning how to use a spoon and drink his milk from a glass.
Yeah, he's a little bit late when it comes to these things but i'm so proud.

@MGjhaud - It is important for children to have someone to bond with.

Aww that is so nice that you take care of your little nephew. My littlest nephew will be 4 in July. I hope that the situation does improve so that he is able to live back with his mother. I hope they all appreciate you forever how you took care of him. You are a very special part of his life.

@sjvg1976 we don't have twins in the family. that must be so fun having two kids in your arms when they were little.
@Dawwriter my nephew alone is like equivalent to 10 kids sometimes..

Having twins must be double the workload and double the fun.

Yes, watching a child grow up is amazing! It is also very difficult to give them up if/when that time comes, whether that be back to their bio parents or allowing them to leave home when they are grown... You lose them too fast, either way.

Joy, is that you and kid in the complementing photo?! You got a beautiful toddler. Of course, even not fully showing your face, I can tell the smiling toddler got a pretty mother, too!

@MGjhaud how about showing your face to the 'public' hija? just kidding. I reared my son alone without the help of his father. of course my sister and late parents were here to guide me in guiding my son

You can be a good Mom in the future because right now, you are already doing it to your nephew.
