Living off your internet earnings

Living off your internet earnings It’s been a long-time dream to be able to live off my internet earnings, but I guess it’s always only going to be a dream. Few years back when the websites (No longer around these days) I was connected with were paying I thought that it could be possible. I get so far then a website goes down for one reason or another. I know some people do, I guess they are the lucky ones and were in the right place at the right time so to speak. Have you ever thought it would be possible to do, have you ever tried doing it? I know many people here on Mylot are here to have fun and earn a little something.

I think it is a dream for most people to be able to do that. For me it is being able to make it from working at home-offline or online but so far haven't been successful with it. My childcare isn't steady enough here like it was in another state we lived in. If it was-we would be much better off than we are now. Maybe one day we will have our dream come true...

It is really possible to do so Kev at least what I think. However I am not in a position to do so. I think online it almost takes money to make money. You have to be able to support yourself with something offline first, then have a go at it. Internet is not always reliable.

We both know that it is possible to earn a respectable living wage online because many people do just that. Of course it is not a quick or easy situation to reach and is never likely to be achieved by using paying sites.

@Asylum That is true, it could do, I've many people going really well on Etsy. Someone did $20,000 in sales in 5 months of being there. Not sure what there were doing now, but they mentioned it in one of the teams there.

I think it's possible, but not with the kind of stuff I'm doing. There are definitely bigger ways to make money over the internet, which takes more time and effort . . . however, this is all I have time for at the moment. Oh - it's always on the back of my mind though - I'm still dreaming!

It depends what you do online. For sites like this one here, no it is not possible. But if you have your own website and a lot of good content and selling some items too, well, there is a possibility..

totally agree, i started online 2015,worked very hard at it,learned what to do, produced content and l was making money, this year i ran out of steam, producing high quality content every week is hard, and having a website is alot of little elements combined together to make it profitable

Honestly, I think it is possible, depending on how serious you are about it, and how dedicated you are to it. I have a friend who does nothing but do surveys and watch videos that pay per view (on sites like swagbucks), as well as posting on sites like this one, and he does it for about 8 hours a day (he stays home due to health issues), and he easily makes about 200-300$ per month doing this. He is so dedicated to it, that he has a desktop computer, laptop computer, smartphone and tablet all loading videos, games, surveys etc at the same time so he can get many views done per hour, now THAT is dedication.

@kevin1877uk yes he sure does. As I said, he stays home all day and doesn't have kids or anything to take care of, so he has time to just sit there all day doing surveys and watching videos lol.

I have been trying to make a living from working online since three years ago. I signed up with a writing site which was giving me enough to support frugal living; unfortunately, the site had to close. At the same time I was enrolled in a program at another site where they paid you for being at. I made some hundreds of dollars for the first six months but then my earnings started to decrease. Nowdays, I´m retaking filling up surveys and other minor tasks that pay cents. I think someone can still make a living on the internent. It only takes quality not quantity.

I personally think you have to do multi-website, have an interest like I have with photography and my knitting, but it could be anything, maybe you like writing short stories or doing pottery. Just writing on a website like this are ok and don't get me wrong, but you will always be limited. Now, on the other hand, Bubblews was a good website earned a lot from there.

I would never be able to live off internet money from sites I frequent. For me this is extra money to take care of expenses. I honestly have to have some other type of income coming in. I wish there was a way to get rich quick from site. I would be thrilled.

I have been working online for several years and it took some years to go through all the scam sites to find the real ones and I narrowed it down to ones I do every day and sometimes I can not do them all in one day! L.O.L. But now I am unable to work outside the home so I have to make it work for me and I have been paid by all sites am I on and have been on for several year. I just get tired sometimes. My wrist starts hurting so have to take several breaks throughout the day. I would say that it is a job to be on the sites for several hours! They all pay on different days so it is okay for me for now.

I know somebody that lives off her Internet earnings. It is her job, and she works at it seven to eight hours a day (sometimes more and sometimes less) just as most other jobs. She does have flexibility, though, which allows her to work and still be home for her child.

I think its possible, but not from writing on sites like this. The people who live off their internet earnings write very popular blogs, sell things on ebay and the like, or do freelance work.

I always hope I can @kevin1877uk . With my piddly Social Security and a whopping $16 in Food Stamps, I barely survive. I do surveys but I'm disqualified a lot because I'm either too old, white or don't have all the modern gadgets that there are. The most I've ever made in 1 month was $51.40 and I was shocked. The most I've ever made here was $13.63 and that was in February and you figure I've been at this site since October of last year.
