Earlier today, I covered a Bernie Sanders rally held nearby. While he seemed to have quite a crowd, there was a definite difference in the atmosphere surround this rally compared to that of Donald Trump.
I can say today's rally was a show of support for Sanders well over Hillary Clinton. Though I noticed many in the crowd were quite young, some too young to even vote.
Do you think children should miss school to go to campaign rallies? Those in middle school and even elementary school?
Some rallies have been known on both sides of the debate to have unfavorable people there. Are parents putting their children at risk? It could be argued that it's an experience of a lifetime.
Later today Donald Trump will be in Albany, New York. It seems to me New Yorker's tend to favorite these two men.

if my child's grades and attendance could afford the hit, I would take them, if they wanted, it's a learning experience all in of it'self.

I don't know if I'd take my kids out of school to attend a rally, but I have definitely made political awareness part of their education. They have taken time away from schooling to attend political debates or to participate in mock elections, and will continue to do so. My oldest even took time awa\y from school this past fall to work in the federal election

I'm so glad you've shared in this experience with your children. A truly positive way to inform our children.

@WendySpickerman I'm really glad we did it too! They're much more politically aware and involved than their peers, and I'm sure this is one of the reasons they are.

@Hatley Trump being a millionaire, don't even factor into the equation for me. And I would hope other chose their candidates wisely as well.

I can understand those who can vote but other students should be in school in my opinion but everyone is different.
