I got a nice 10 lb bag of russet potatoes this weekend and tonight we're going to have baked potatoes.
I love potatoes any which way but baked in high on my list as a favorite (probably right after mashed)
Do you love loading a baked potato with all sorts of goodies or are you a traditional butter and/or sour cream person?
Although I love a nice buttery potato my favorite topping is blue cheese dressing. I love to pour my blue cheese on top of my potato and have foregone the old butter and/or sour cream for this. It's sooooooo delicious (if you like blue cheese).
I also tend to dip my french fries in my blue cheese dressing too but that steers me away from my baked potato conversation. Maybe I should have made my discussion about blue cheese dressing instead

The best way for me to eat potatoes is boiled fluffy
with butter (well usually Country Crock here) and salt. Sometimes a dash of pepper. Love spuds.
Blue cheese dressing is so yummy to me.

Baking potatoes with olive oil an spices sound really good. I'm going to have to try it just for something different

I liked regular baked potatoes with just butter. However, I do a twice-baked potato with butter, sour cream and cheese, and it is delicious. I also sometimes add bacon bits to the twice-baked potatoes.

@Marilynda1225 It is. There are only a few instances where adding bacon does not make the food better, such as on cupcakes.

@Marilynda1225 I cannot imagine how the French Roquefort would taste with something hot. I know that I love it crumbled on endives, with a little walnut oil.

I like a baked potato the traditional way with butter but occasionally I like to shake things up and load up my potato with stuff

I love a potato any way you can make it, but seldom eat them because of my diabetes.

I love potatoes and would miss them if I couldn't eat them. I do tend to eat smaller size ones though as I"m trying to cut back on my carbs

I am lactose intolerant now and cannot add any of these things. But, mozzarella cheese still works just fine.
