Going the Way of the Dinosaur

Some things are just going the way of the dinosaur. I miss some old ways of doing things. I can remember using typewriters. I still think of them as useful. There are those things called payphones that you can still find hanging around from time to time. I do not think they should be done away with completely. I will always have a love for landline phones, and I use them most of the time, but my cellphone is always handy. What are some things that are endangered to you that you fear losing.

i wont lie about being comfortable and more drawn to the latest technology. it just makes my life easier.. but i still do think that some old ways are best to keep until now. i still pay my bills offline. if i have a typewriter, i would love to type my invitations, journal, and such using that one. writing letters are still fun and exciting although it takes time.

I'm actually looking for a working typewriter in antique shops. I'd want one as a display but at the same time I want a functioning one as well. Letters? I write a short note every day for the past year or two to myself but in due time, those notes will be given to the right person.

@allen0187 Typewriters are still practical. I hope you can find one that you like. Your letter writing is quite special. Keeping up with your thoughts will make sure they are not forgotten.

Hi allen0187. That is something I truly appreciate, and I like it when others appreciate it too.
