From childhood I had a curiosity to learn playing a piano or a keyboard.I want to learn it.I don't have it yet I have downloaded an app.I tried learning through google or youtube yet I have been unsuccessful in the same.
Can you suggest me some tips to learn playing the keyboard?

I have learned how to play the organ, "the small and simple version" of piano when I was a kid. My brother always play it and I always watch him while he is playing the keys. Then, when he noticed I am interested, he taught me how to read the notes : do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, do and the symbols used for each. When I already mastered how to read those notes, he taught me the corresponding keys.

@shubhu3 Yes. Whenever I hear him playing the organ, I stop at what I am doing. Then I just sing while he plays the music.

I attended piano lessons when I was young, but I have stopped practicing for years. I always want to buy a piano and practice now, though I have a small keyboard at home, it's different. That doesn't help me practicing.
I have a friend who did not know how to play piano at all. She drew out the keys on the paper and lay it out, and start practicing like that. Whenever she found a piano, she tried to practice on the real piano, otherwise she practiced with her "paper piano". When I knew her, she can already play quite well, and I was amazed of how she learned and practiced.
I taught my son how to play some simple songs, like "Mary had a little lamb", "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". This is not how I learned when I attended the piano lessons, but I found it more fun to learn from some simple songs we are familiar with first. Then slowly learn to read the notes. This is just how I started to teach my son.

Wowww!!!Your friend has a very good creative ability seriously. It's very tough to learn through this way. That is amazing. And ya through simple songs I also feel that we are abe to catch and learn more productively. You had taken a good start to teach your son.

Maybe you should enrol yourself in a piano class. That way you can learn the tips.

I played piano for over a 3 years, but I made some break from it for 2 years now. You can definitely learn notes and some finger stretching that will help you so much ones you start playing on the real piano, or keyboard. Watching videos of other people playing helped me a lot too because it shows you both how to press keys properly and how to follow the rhythm.I'm starting again to play now, and even going to buy some electric piano, maybe the keyboard. I wouldn't put all trust in this, but here I found some good advice before buying and good suggestions too, .... Without a real instrument in front of you, there is no way of learning it.Even if I played it already I need an instrument to start again. Good Luck!!!!
When I place my hands on those piano keys its just me and the sound, the whole world shuts off, making it impossible for me to focus on anything else. That is why I love tapping those piano keys and I am sure you feel the same way. So if you are looking to
