I try my best not to let it get to me when that happens. But sometimes, depending on what the subject is, it does hurt my feelings. When I put alot of effort in to writing a discussion, and I get no responses, it hurts a little.

Being upset is ok, that gives us impetus to work harder next time. However when someone post anything on social networking sites the response is driven by the factor that how many friends do that person have on that website. For example i have seen people writing logical things on Facebook and Twitter, but their posts does not get deserved response as they do not have lot of friends in that place. On the other hand i have seen people with lot of friends writing general stuff that ''Morning is so pleasant today" and getting lot of likes and encouragement. So finally is comes down to network of friends you possess, this is applicable not only in virtual world but in real world too.

I feel some discussions are close to our heart. When such long discussions do not get that response, it feels bad. But we need to understand that on a global platform not everything will be acknowledged.
I think we just need to move on.
The post may get some responses after few days..who knows.

It feels sad, when you take some trouble to write after doing research and no one responds. But you cannot help it. Maybe someone sometime may respond to it later.
