Yesterday, while I was browsing the web, I saw the photo of a strange cake, transparent and shaped like a drop of water. As I am curious, I searched to know more and discovered that this is a Japanese "Raindrop Cake". I have found a recipe, discovered that I had what needed to make an experiment and I tried to make one. What to say, even if it looks nice but it is the tasteless thing I have ever tried. If you want to know more you can watch this YouTube video. Are you tempted to try?
Hi! Today I ate a raindrop from the sky. ?? LOL It was delicious. ?? Leave a suggestion on what I should name my cooking series below. ? p.s.- THANK YOU SO MUC...

It looks nice. Probably the kind of cake made to be seen, not to be eaten.

@LadyDuck .. But it would melt within 30 minutes...what she sprinkled above might be what made it tasty...

No, they eat the cake, but I see no reason to eat a gelatin made with water and agar agar. It can be decorative if you can put a flower or something inside.

@LadyDuck It may be preferable to dark chocolate.

I will stick to my dark chocolate and continue to send you the milk one, this thing it's not worth trying.

@Asylum NO! Dark chocolate has a distinctive taste, people can like or dislike, but something that tastes like "gummy water" has no sense.

Anything tasteless is not for me! That is why I hate water because it has no flavor-yuck!

I drink water every day, sparkling water, but drinking water is something "eating" a ball of water is weird.

Oh, you'll have to learn to like water. It's important to drink pure water every day.

I am tempted to try a little bit but i'll just take your word for it. I'd rather eat nata de coco ... they look the same but nata de coco taste "much better" and is so nutricious.

@LadyDuck To be honest i have no idea what is a panna cotta. I had to search for it on yahoo search. I saw several videos on how to make panna cotta. I think this one is much much better than the tasteless cake. I will try to make this one of these days.

They look more or less the same, but believe me that the nata the coco is much better. I will make a panna cotta next time.

interesting experiment but if so bland not much of a cake, though tasting of nothing is better than tasting bad

It's quickly done, then it has to rest in the refrigerator (like the jello), but it's not even worth trying.

My daughter mentioned these to me under some other name - it was something's tears, I think - and I looked them up. It looks completely pointless to me, so I decided to drop the idea.
