Yesterday, while I was browsing the web, I saw the photo of a strange cake, transparent and shaped like a drop of water.
As I am curious, I searched to know more and discovered that this is a Japanese "Raindrop Cake".
I have found a recipe, discovered that I had what needed to make an experiment and I tried to make one.
What to say, even if it looks nice but it is the tasteless thing I have ever tried.
If you want to know more you can watch this YouTube video.
Are you tempted to try?
Hi! Today I ate a raindrop from the sky. ?? LOL It was delicious. ?? Leave a suggestion on what I should name my cooking series below. ? p.s.- THANK YOU SO MUC...

Anything tasteless is not for me! That is why I hate water because it has no flavor-yuck!

@LadyDuck To be honest i have no idea what is a panna cotta. I had to search for it on yahoo search. I saw several videos on how to make panna cotta. I think this one is much much better than the tasteless cake. I will try to make this one of these days.

interesting experiment but if so bland not much of a cake, though tasting of nothing is better than tasting bad

Apparently you need to have it with strong syrup sides as it has no taste

@Drosophila I suppose that it's a "in thing", no I am not impressed at all, there are better cakes that I prefer to eat.

@crazyhorseladycx Yes, I have seen that they played with this "blob". I have seen a more serious video, but the taste anyway will not change.

Hi Anna. What's that saying, "just because you can do a thing does not mean you should do a thing". Lol, I won't be trying this one.

@Namelesss Yes, life would be too boring, in fact today I am going to try two new experiments. I wish they would be less deceiving.

I would probably gobble that up, if i find it tasteless i would put something in it like cheese or fruit jam so it's not wasted

@LadyDuck great it tastes like whatever you put on it, it should be renamed the adaptable raindrop cake

Asian deserts are usually very bland, not sweet or flavorful like we are used to.
