Found the cutest gift for my friends daughters first birthday

After my dentist appointment today I went to toys r us to look around for a gift for my friends daughter who is turning 1. Her birthday party is this weekend.
I looked around the whole store and was about to give up and either go looking at Kmart or just give her money in a car when I stumbled on the perfect gift.
My friend has a bunch of chickens that are like her babies they are so well taken care of. I found this cute baby cabbage patch dressed up as a chicken.
I think it is so cute I hope they love it.

@bounce58 @carebear29 I agree it is ugly and adorable at the same time lol. I think the outfit it is dressed in isn't very cute. They could have made it look a lot better the clothes to look more realistic. I think what is adorable is the face.

Oh toys r us has everything you can think of. I had no trouble finding adorable things in that age group it was just deciding what to get that was hard haha.

Ohh haha look at that your profile is a chicken as well! Is that what attracted you to this post to comment? My mans mother likes roosters so her kitchen was decorated with them. They had chickens and roosters for eggs as well.

I hope so! They were away for over a month visiting family. They are home now and I am going to visit them tomorrow. I told her that if she needs help getting ready for the party which is the following day that I can help her with whatever she needs help with.

I finally gave it to her a few days ago and she liked it. I wanted to go to her birthday party so bad but I was so upset with my man that I was sick to my stomach and couldn't get out of bed.

I think they are always coming out with new things. I remember having them when they first came out back in the 80s when I was real small. Then they came out with new ones when my daughter was a baby. They just come up with new ideas for them all the time. I think they are A LOT cuter faces now then the ones they had when I was little.

That is what it is but its dressed to look like a rooster. I am going to visit them in a few minutes. I was up until 2 am waiting for my man to get home from the bar so I was tired and took a nap this morning. I wanted to jump on mylot while I had a few spare minutes before I leave.

I hope so. I never got to go to her party because I was really upset over my man not coming home. I was sick to my stomach over it all and not well enough to go to the party. I am so sad I missed it. I need to get it wrapped up and take it down to her house soon.
