Hi everyone. Its been two days since I was here last.
I was suddenly surrounded with all things non functional.
It was like the entire house was on strike and I was the management trying to make them work, but to no avail.
The bathroom geyser decided that it does not want to warm up the water, then came the flush in the toilet. For some weird reason it started weeping ( leaking), the drain in the kitchen was clogged and the icing on the cake came when my TV's backlit burnt out. So it was like they decided to communicate to me something which still I have not figured out.
Had to call in the plumber and TV guy, and my husband insisted he can fix the rest. Thankfully it is all sorted now, except for the TV, they have placed order for the, whatever is needed, and hopefully in next week should be here. That means a lot of spare time that I can spend here, if I don't get caught up in other errands.
Has this ever happened to you, suddenly things start falling apart and you don't know where to start fixing it from?
Amazingly this is not the first time that this has happened with me.

That sounds really frustrating. I find that things seem to go wrong in threes (or fours or fives, really) and when it rains it pours. Why is that? Life would be so much easier to deal with if it were only one thing at a time. Oh well. I know how you feel glad you are getting it sorted out.

I have not had that many things go wrong at once. I agree that it sounds like the place just went on strike.
