I Am Grateful, 4/14/2016

Back in the world of Bubbles, I used write a Daily Gratitude Post. It was my way of reminding myself and others that we should be grateful for all the blessings, big and small, that God bestows on us
Listing my blessings each day helped me focus on the positive rather than get wrapped up in all the things that can and do go wrong each day.
I would like to continue the tradition here.
My Blessings:
My darling hubby is making dinner tonight. I like to cook, but sometimes the need to write overrides it.
The weather is holding between the cold of winter and the heat of summer. It’s been in the 60’s for two weeks now. I love this time of year. We don’t need the heat on, but we don’t have to kick the AC on either. I hope it stays this way for another week or two.
The formatting on my latest book, The Flea Market Folly is done. All we’re waiting on is the cover design. It’s supposed to be ready by the end of next week. I can’t wait to see it. It’s book two in my Isabelle Louise Hardy series. (Humorous mysteries)
I had trouble with my internet connection yesterday, but Chris got it up and running again today. I really hate when I can’t go online.
Bible Verse for the Day:
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30

@BettyB Wow! That is nice meeting a book writer. I would like to be able to come up with my own write-ups too. At the moment, I am focusing on enriching my vocabularies through reading.

I like to write humor. We all need a reason to laugh every now and then. I have two published, A Picture From the Past is a humorous romance, and The Fumbling Fatality is a humorous mystery. Both are available in hardback and on Kindle.

@BettyB After I have made interactions having positive views in life, I made a decision to be like them. That is- to look for something beautiful everyday.

Be grateful for all things in life. Having a roof over your head, having a job, having a family to look after, having a healthy body, the list is endless.

I am happy when I found out this post. I want to be showered with positive vibes.
My Blessings:
I finished 2 out of the 4 tasks that was assigned to me this day. It makes me able to breath now.
I am healthy and can work on everything without any complains on my health or something.
I am able to be patient during stressful times. I managed not to get angry.
We have foods on the table and enough money to survive for the day.

Its the little things that make a difference. Even though the people that don't have enough food to eat consider it a big thing. I agree. I've always taken that for granted. God has blessed me in many ways. I don't want to forget that.

I like the weather this time of the year too, though it rained here off and on from Friday through yesterday. Though I normally don't like rain that many days in a row, we needed it. It was just one of those light drizzles that are great for the plants and the grass. My grass has definitely started greening up because of the rain.

We have so many things/blessings to thank God for. Being alive is one of them and having a nice family is another.

Thanks for sharing. We do have so much to be thankful for. I love that Bible verse you quoted. So nice to know the Lord is always there waiting for us to call upon Him. Your book sounds interesting.
