Does business slow down or pick up with warmer weather?

At my current job - business picks up exponentially when it is warm outside. It hit 70 today in Minnesota (I wore a t shirt outside today!) But I am not looking forward to returning tomorrow due to extreme business levels and probably short staffing.
My previous job though - it got a little busy for about a week after the temps raised but after that it dropped dramatically. This was at the dry cleaners I managed.
At my current job...it means all heck breaks loose. Tons of overtime. Which is good and bad.
What about you? Does work pick up or slow down when it gets to be warmer outside?

I work on my own place so everything must continue regardless of the weather, unless ther will be typhoons because classes are suspended so the kids I am tutoring will not come over.

I think I've already described where I work...
So, we do get a lot more work in the summer. It is very interesting because it is supposed to be warmer out, and people should be doing other stuff outside, yet the demand for TV and internet spikes. I do planning, so I have to figure out how we can manage those spikes.
As for myself though, work is just about the same. I think!

I'm retired, but my last job was a call center and there was no change. However, I do notice there are more people out shopping when the weather is nice.

I'm retired now, but when I did work, I worked at a church. People did stay home during extreme bad weather, but, for the most part, it's really the same all year long. :)

Here in the Philippines business definitely picks up for mall tenants. With the hot weather, people tend to visit air-conditioned malls more often, and they stay longer. Resorts also get a lot of customers, of course. I actually hate going to the pool in summertime here. The last time I did that, the pool was so full of people you literally could not see the water. I'm in the events industry as I am a candy buffet stylist, and my work is usually on weekdays. I find that the hot weather does not affect people's desire to throw parties. Our monsoon season, though, is a different story.
