It's Not that I'm Giving Up

But let's face it. The bank has been toying with me for almost two years. The loan company called today and the bank is toying with them too. So I'm giving up on them ever coming through with all the docs I sent many times and he's FedExing a new modification package to me. I should have it in a couple days and I'll get that back to them as quickly as possible. They need a new letter from Social Services, and that will take the longest since I'm in the middle of my six month review and I need to get docs to them - primarily my son's work info and since he's not been to work much this week and won't be, except for tomorrow, until sometime next week, it won't get back to them until sometime next week. My son is taking time off for his birthday, which is Monday. He's having a bonfire in the backyard this weekend.
So yes, I'm giving up and doing it over. And yes, this time I'll make copies so I have them - just in case.
Total frustration. But the guy I'm working with now seems more than competent and so far I'm happy with the fact he seems to be keeping on top of this situation.
How's your day? Thanks for reading.

Documentation is a chore I'd rather not do. Nothing could be more frustrating than to repeat the process because someone else fouled up or misplace them. Your son's birthday celebration would take your mind off this problem. At least for a while.

@just4him _Bureaucracy is the same anywhere in the world. Here in the Philippines, unless you know someone, you have to deal with a lot of red tape, you are given the run around and your papers move at a snail pace. I hope your's does better.

That's what I went through, too. You are so smart to make those copies! I should have done that but I never got to that point. The good news is that this seems to take forever. And as long as you keep sending them paperwork to weed through, it keeps them busy. I mean, I've already moved and now I can't even convince the bank to take my house! lol Now they are dragging their feet on this. But I'm glad I moved. At least, where I am there's no stress. By the time they're ready, I should be more than ready to hand them the keys. You're in my prayers. I want this to work out for you so badly! xoxo

@just4him I know. It's so much easier to give up. I think that, if my situation had been different and that I hadn't lost Britt or I hadn't been married to him at all beforehand, I might still be in there fighting. But I don't have any more fight left in me at this point. So I'm living vicariously through you now. :)

Yes it will. I'd be bald from pulling my hair out if I didn't have faith.

seeing as the bank no longer even has the loan, I can see them totally not caring. they already sold it off.

@just4him I am just not terribly surprised they are being stupid about it. I would DEFF keep everything in triplicate.

Yes, but they were still under obligation to give all the documents. Since they're not, I have another package, arrived today, to fill out and send back. I just need to take care of the six month review for social services first before I get that sent back, so it won't be going back as fast as it got here.

Valerie, you hang in there, this may just be your answer, a new beginning on all of this. I didn't get in on the first of all of it, but I do know how all of this kinds of things can be. Y ou relax and we will pray that all works out this time.
As for my day, it is great so far this morning. So beautiful. Love to you.. Have a great day.

Funny how documents can just disappear unless you have made copies.

I am not really motivated today. Lots of aches and pains. I was going to nap but hubby called. I am just doing my regular type things though.

It's better that way. Hopefully tomorrow you'll have more motivation. Me too. There are things I should be doing as well.

I hope that all works out for you. I had a day of rest today, except for doing two loads of laundry since we took stuff to wear at the coast. Anne had a busy day with doc appts and yoga and her writing critique group, so was gone a good part of the day.

A day of rest sounds good, but there isn't any for me. I still need to get things done, though today it's here on the Internet spending time with everyone here.

Dontcha' just love the 'establishment' trying to get anything done @just4him ? I just had to redo all the paperwork for my Food Stamps. It's a lousy $16. I tell them every time that nothing has changed so why do I have to keep filling out the same paperwork.
