I’m Not Feeling My Work Today

It is just one of those days where I am not feeling my work. The writing orders are kind of slow, and I have been grabbing lower priced ones, and I'm lacking in the motivation department.
So what am I doing? I'm forcing myself to write until my cut-off alarm goes off (an alarm I set that basically tells me to finish up that order and get some sleep). I know some people say you shouldn't force yourself to write, but I can't afford to just skip a day over the lack of motivation. I have done it before, but I don't wanna do it tonight.
I did babysit, and I walked my niece to the thrift store. Babysitting went fine and we weren't gone that long, but I guess both events can contribute to my feeling tired. I'm thinking the slow writing week is also playing a part in my lack of motivation.
Welp, I guess I'll go see how much work I can knock out in between my procrastinating. I don't see the work picking up tomorrow what with it being Friday, and I have already accepted that I may not hit my usual weekly goal... so here is to hoping things pick back up next week.

Some writers think it's better to sit down and write intentionally on a daily basis. I think it's good that you commit to your writing on this level.

@tammys85 I can understand that. I sometimes do freelance writing. At the end of last year, I was quite busy, but since January, it's been slow. Okay, yes, sometimes I'm slow also. Haha.

@puddleglum It's been pretty good for me on Textbroker, but sometimes there are slow weeks, such as this week. And it decreases my motivation lol.
