Bookmark so far...

I got the chance to work on the second bookmark tonight--so far so good--no pulling out stitches, just changing the pattern that I had already written down. ;) I have a feeling that I will be changing it some more as I go. ;)
Tomorrow I will be able to work on this some more. It will be interesting to see how far off of my original pattern I go.

I think that I've done that in the past, but in this case it's a commission someone's paying for, so didn't want to take that chance. ;)

Looks good, can't wait to see the finished product. 
My mom does cross stitch alot, I do embroidery, but it always has to be with a pre-stamped design, I've never really been able to do cross stitch for that very reason. But yet I can easily do plastic canvas just by eye and following a chart, no stamped design needed. Figure that one out.

LOL--I can do counted cross stitch just fine, but I was never able to do plastic canvas and make it look right.
