Do you easily get addicted to games?

I'm not really prone to addictive behavior but I spend a lot of time playing games that capture my fancy. I've been playing Clash of Clans since June 2015. It's one of my favorite game apps along with Candy Crush. I temporarily stopped playing around December last year, played again and then went on another hiatus late January towards the end of March early this year. Now, I'm back in action, winning wars for my clan.
I don't know why the game continues to thrill me, but sometimes, try as I might, I do get distracted. Occasionally, even before I realize it, my hand would reach for my phone and automatically open my COC app. I haven't forgotten my regular human duties and functions, however, so I might not be a full-blown "game addict."
I'm wondering if you guys have been in a similar situation, where you can't stop playing a game or games even though you weren't that much of a gamer before.

i was confined for a very long time and couldnt get up. i turned my attention from reading books to watching movies. when i got bored and saw almost all the good ones, i started downloading games. i got addicted to one or two for a while but i passed all the levels already so im laying low now. i was never fond of playing games too but it helped me during my bed saga days.

I may get addicted to it if I like it. I used to play Bounce. I never missed the opportunity to play it at my spare time. Playing games is good to get your mind off work as long as you know when to play it.
