Bullying towards other people's choice

I remember when I campaign for some one who is charismatic and already has a great track record, and a great spokesman. For me, He was enough to win the election, but unfortunately the public didn't like him simply because of his surname.
I kept reading this stupid response "He's smart but he will not win because he's not popular, because survey's this and that" blah blah blah. There was even a time were my picture was stolen and a troll put some malice on my picture, Im glad they got deleted.
Now, it seems they have learned from their past mistakes, they're now voting some one from the executive who used to be a mayor and very popular too. Unfortunately, the bullying didn't stop and those who had other choice were called "stupid, ignorant and dumb"
I bet these majority would be the same people that would hate their candidate if he winds and fails to deliver his or her promises. and probably won't do anything and prefer to let him handle it ALL.
But despite of that, bullying remains on those who are majority, so sad but I've seen it thrice already. Which is probably why I'm silent this election, I don't want to get into the band wagon when others would just bully to justify their candidate.

We have a secret ballot. We do not reveal who we are voting for. I will. Ot participate surveys to predict who might win.

Hello @Morleyhunt surveys here are more of a manipulation to the public to control their thoughts on who's going or they want to win in the election. which is not fair to me, but now a days people have open their mind and against the manipulated surveys.

I try to stay away from the discussions about politics or even when I am out and about.

It never was @lovebeingmummy2 as if you don't have the right to speak your mind since they are more who support the other.

I try not to talk about political candidates because I don't want to argue with those who might disagree with my point of view. It's sad that there is bullying about such things in both of our countries.

Some people just ride the bandwagon and never thought of checking the candidate through out the election campaign period. Last time they did it too and it was really awful @WilmaHenry54

It's not that they are bad or good, it's how the supporters treat each other, specially on the opposite sides. @amadeo

If that is the case, then there's no point voting to them @amnabas if they want supporters to cut each other's throats then it's not worth voting for.

That's a good choice and probably mine too @ida123 I don't want complications, even among my family.
