Worn Out

Today I feel like a worn out dishrag. Worn out and wrung out. I know this is grief. I just don't like being hit by it all at once. One moment I was laughing and the next I was a bucket of tears and right now I'm so depressed I don't know which way is up or down. I just need this roller coaster to come to a stop, even a sudden stop so I can get off. I want my life to return to normal, though I have no idea what normal is anymore. There have been too many changes in my life this year and I don't want anymore changes. In the past year my X died, my mom died, I had to put my dog down, and my dad died. There was three months between my X and my mom, three months between mom and my dog, and another three months between my dog and my dad. I've heard of things happening in three's before but this has to stop. Three months from now is July and that's my birthday, and I don't want anything more happening in this family. Now there are only three of us left. I know they say third times a charm, so I'm going to believe the charm is left and we will all survive because we have to. We need to. Life goes on and I must too. I have things to do, books to write and one thing I can't allow is this roller coaster to affect my writing. Well, onward and upward. Thanks for reading.

Grief is horrible. It never works the way you wish it would. And yes, my friend, you've been through more than enough. I often wonder what the lesson is that God is teaching. One thing I do know. No matter how many of our loved ones we lose from this life, God still loves us more. And God brings people into our lives to makes us want to keep going. But you know all of this. So I will say this. I'm SO sorry for all you've been through. And you're a very special friend in my life. And I'm here for you if you should ever need someone. God bless you every second. xoxo

@just4him Right. Take your time, and bounce back at your own pace, as we all grieve differently. I'm only a message away if need be.

I'm so sorry. Maybe something good is up ahead and you had to get through the junk first. But wow, you've had it tough.

You've suffered a lot of losses this year, and its understandable that you feel this way. Grief is exhausting. I hope that you allow yourself the rest that you need right now. ((HUGS))

Take a deep breath, lift a prayer to God for bringing you through thus far. Then put a smile on your face knowing that you are in my prayers even now as I am typing this, having taken a deep breath myself as didn't receive a call like the past few weeks. Can't wait.

Same with you, my birthday is in July also. I'm making a birthday wish that I could be let off the tiny roller coaster as well -- I've come to realize that my troubles are nowhere near what you're going through. If I could be let off early, that'll be even better. I'll make my wish tonight, before I go to bed, to make it a little bit 'formal'. When I make mine, I will mention yours as well. Hopefully one or both of us will get our birthday wish.

In time things will get better. It takes time to heal from a loss let alone numerous losses. As long as you're praying and haven't allowed your faith to leave you. Everything will be alright. Try ro think about some happy memories. Take care.

My faith is strong. That is secure. I know everything will be alright. I know it takes time, and I know grief does strange things to people.

take some you time, make a tasty drink, and zone for a bit. -hugs- I am not going to roll out that give it time stuff everyone says, time doesnt heal things. Time just gives you more breathing room to try and deal.
