Earn Extra Income: Social Networks That Pay

social networks that pay
Austin, Texas

Currently participating in three (3) social networks that pay (or promise to pay). Tsu, myLot and bitLanders. BlogJob is a blogging community and social network. Tsu and bitLanders encourage blogging. MyLot is different from the herd. It is truly a discussion forum and interaction is lively; you earn money and get paid faster than any of the other sites. There are no requirements as to total number of characters or words to start a discussion (or write a post). Most of my friends from other sites are here. If I were ranking these websites on income potential? First, myLot. Next BlogJob. Tsu and bitLanders are tied for 3rd place. Tumblr deserves honorable mention because the platform is for blogging, micro-blogging, and socializing. Liking and/or reblogging is the raison d'être. It's encouraged so much it's almost a rule. It's almost rude if you don't! Sign up is free and they allow affiliate advertising. * Follow up to a previous post about the Tsu social network.
Have you heard about this social network that has as its mission to take social media platforms up a notch by paying the users for sharing? It's called...

Personally I've done better on BlogJob than myLot so far, but that may change in the future now that I'm more active here. I tried Tsu a long time ago but deleted my account after a few days, and there's a chance I'll do the same with BitLanders. I'm still trying to figure Tumblr out, but I'm not sure I'll ever make a go of that one either.

@gina145 do blogs on blogjob earn from views when shared on social media or if they came up from search engines?

Thanks @cmoneyspinner. That's not my problem with Tumblr though. I'm coping with the technical side of things, but I don't know how to bring traffic to my posts there. I hate the fact that it's not possible to comment on most Tumblr blogs because that makes it really difficult to get noticed.

I gave up Tsu and bitLanders because I find it hard to earn there. I am not yet on blogJob.

@cmoneyspinner I was there in bitlanders and when they changed from bitcoins to bitmiles I lost my interest because I don't know how to withdraw the amount there and how to work, tus also i was there but not active I am here in mylot because I am an old member and I have lot many friends here and trust worthy site so I can earn few cents over here. no idea about blogjobs.

That's why they both tied for 3rd place. You can earn extra income at those sites. But it'll trickle in. So say if you start socializing in January, maybe by December you might have some extra money to enjoy the holiday season. Although bitLanders has something called bitMiles and it seems you can earn points quicker and perhaps reach payout quicker. I don't know. I'm still exploring that.

@Jotomy - They changed to bitmiles just as I joined and like you I am sort of clueless about it. BitLanders just isn't my cup of tea. There are other communities that are much easier to learn and to earn. Communities like myLot.

My preference is also mylot, then blogjob. I just joined blogjob, though I enjoy spending time there, I still like the interaction here. Perhaps I am still new over there. I think I have tried tsu, but I didn't spend much time there. I checked out bitlanders, I like the web design, but I am still not ready to join that site yet.

Love the interaction. Got warmed up at BlogJob and love the interaction there too. That's why those sites are Number 1 and Number 2 on my list.

@kaka135 - I have found that the BlogJob community is comprised of serious and seasoned bloggers, as well as newbies; personal bloggers as well as those who blog for business; and all are very friendly and helpful. We really try to help each other out.

They like everything! From personal or random TO general business info TO specific niches - food, gaming, etc. You have a wide age range from teens to senior citizens, sharing life experiences and perspective or a particular expertise. The community is global and very friendly.

@TheHorse - Uumm … yes. Your time management and organizational skills would have to be wisely employed so that you get the most out of both communities. I try to sign in at both sites every day. I set both of my accounts to send Notifications via eMail so I know when there is commenting activity that needs to be responded to. And then sometimes I just pop in to see what's going on. It's always lively at both sites.

@AkoPinay does bitlanders pay for views, likes and comments on your blog posts? is it internal, external (search engines and social media), or both?

@cmoneyspinner oh I didn't know we can monetize tumblr but I find it not so mobile friendly that's why I prefer Wordpress. Recruiting is difficult for me and that's the reason I didn't join tsu and it was not mobile friendly when it started. On bitLanders, I earned $200 plus equivalent in one month with less than 10 blog posts rated 5/5 star last year. If I could only continue writing lenghtly articles I would definitely publish them on bitLanders.

@hereandthere nope, they base on buzzscore. We can submit contents (video, blog or gallery) for review and receive buzz bonuses depends on content ratings. I receive 5/5 star ratings for 1,000 or more word articles with videos, pictures, links and correct tags/keywords. bitLanders is good for lengthly articles.

I feel very comfortable with Mylot now, though I am trying out Bitlanders. I think I will focus there for a week or more to see how it goes. It seems that those who login every day will get special bonus or something.

I'm definitely cozy and comfy at myLot. When I'm not here, I'm tweaking my other blogs or trying to publish blog posts and updating links at my websites that have gone bad.

There are many more sites, but the payouts are so meager, that even after hours of time given at the site, one hardly sees any rise in the income. Also, the minimum payout is also very high, so it takes a long time to get the payment. Still hope myLot keeps the payout at $1.

@karjatwala - Yeah. But I thought you were saying the $1 was the new pay-out versus $10. You're right. April ain't over until it's over!

At $1? You mean $10. That $1 payout period is over. Isn't it? They said it was just for March and April.

@davidalicea100 - Not everybody likes Tumblr. I think Tumblr knows that. That's why people who have a Wordpress blog can interface with Tumblr and share their posts via Tumblr. Many people prefer the Wordpress platform over most of the other blogging applications that are out there.

I'm not bored at BlogJob at all. When I do sign in to be active on Tsu, it's usually fun. BitLanders leaves me with a question mark. I'm not sure how to interact there. So this weekend, I decided to put bitLanders on a back burner. My activity there, if any, will be extremely limited, if at all.

Have you been on tsu long? I wouldn't say they encourage blogging unless things have changed since the fall. People that are photographers seem to do better there. In my experience it was mainly the writers that shared the writings of their friends. I'm looking at your link to see what else you've said about it.

Yes I am on Tsu but not very active as when I first started. Other WAHM projects like myLot sort of took over! Besides … as soon as I realized you had recruit family and friends, I knew it was all over for me at Tsu. When it comes to blogging, Tsu is definitely not my first choice for publishing blog posts. However, I still share links there; and like and make comments just like what I do on Facebook because …?? Because Tsu versus Facebook … Facebook = zero and Tsu = pennies (that can turn into dollars). I figure if I'm going to be socializing why not earn some extra spending money? Plus Tsu encourages donating to charities and I have done that. There is also some interesting stuff people share on Tsu, so it's a learning experience and exposure to new things. They just did a major overhaul to their system to make the site more appealing, simpler to navigate, and easier to search. Tsu won't ever replace Facebook. But Tsunation can carve out a little piece of the social media market for themselves. I think they have plans to survive!

The "One" you're at is the best one! Especially if you have a job. Or my husband likes to say "a real job". He's not convinced my work at home projects are real. But he doesn't try to prevent me from trying.
