I was out this morning until 2PM because I have to drive for my dad and my two aunts. We went to a birthday celebration of their only aunt alive who just turned 96. After eating lunch, we still spent some more hour because a lot of their relatives are also coming over and they were having some good chats. Before we go home, we had another stop at the house of another relative who lives near the lake. We were able to get some fresh tilapias and brought them home.

wow, 96 years old. still active and alert? being able to drive your parents and relatives is a big help to them. is that the lake where the tilapias came from? what's it called?

So you went to Batangas. Taal Lake never ceases to amaze me, even in photographs. The 96-year old aunt is doing something right to live that long. Glad that you are able to spend time with your family from your dad's side.

So, that's Taal Lake. That photo is better than those I saw in my Sibika books when I was in elementary.

Yeah, even those photos featuring the volcano with a crater. Some old folks in my community say that it wasn't the real volcano but the one beside it. The volcano according to them has no crtaer and it can explode in any part making a big hole after.
