Better Hillary than Donald. What about you?

This sounds overrated but I just feel the need to air out my sentiments. After all, the things going on in the United States significantly affect the rest of the world too. Besides, I find it ironic that a nation known for championing democracy and human rights for centuries now never had a female president since the time it came into existence. What happened to freedom and equality? And Donald Trump - that man is beyond me. He's better off concentrating on his companies. The government is something a hot-tempered, short-sighted businessman like him shouldn't dabble with. There are so many ways to earn the power he desperately seeks. Hopefully, America will make the right choice this November.

I am not overwhelmed by Trump. All the candidates stink one way or another. BTW, a vote for Clinton is guaranteeing higher income taxes as she is on record this week stating she will do that. So that's American workers immediately negatively affected by Clinton. I don't have more money to give to the government, do you? Hillary wants more of our money.

John, she's on the record stating she'd raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans which is absolutely how it should be. If you fall into that category, good for you, but I sure won't feel sorry for you if you have to pay a few bucks more in taxes. Hillary and Bernie both propose things that will benefit the country and the people who are in the most need, and rightfully so. Trump will give the rich another huge tax cut and do to the rest of us what wealthy business owners always do...screw us over big time.

@anniepa I belong to nearly the bottom rung. Hillary has stated raising taxes period. On all. Not just the wealthy. It isn't only big business that screws us over but also government regardless of who's in charge. My life is worse now than it was almost 8 years ago and can specifically point to the current regime making it worse than the previous lousy 8 under Bush.

@anniepa I couldn't agree more. I pray America doesn't vote blindfolded.

I sure hope so or I might want to renounce my citizenship and leave the country. I know that sounds dramatic but I can't imagine living in a country with a President Trump. Of course, a world with a U.S. President Trump would be a very dangerous place indeed.

I don't understand how any woman could think Trump is better than just about anyone! Have you heard some of he awful things he's said to and about other women? They're not about their views or anything they've done or haven't done, they're all about their looks. We don't need a jerk like him in the White House. We don't need a jerk like him ANYWHERE!

@anniepa Hillary will be just an extension of Obama. If she wins , it is 4 to 8 years more of Obama's failed left wing policies.

First of all, voting for a woman simply because of her gender is just as sexist as it is to choose a man over a woman. You don't give any other reasons to vote for Hillary, so I'm assuming it's just about her lady bits. I'd say that's the wrong reason to vote for anyone. Secondly, although Hillary is far less objectionable than Trump, she is also faring worse in the polls than Bernie Sanders when it comes to match ups with Republican candidates. In fact, against Kasich she might actually lose the election. Third, Hillary is part of the 1% and was even a guest at Trump's wedding. They run in the same social circles, and she's funded by all those corporations and banks. Do you really think she's free to run the country according to her own best judgement? She owes favours to the guys with deep pockets. If she wins the election we'll see the US regress to where it was before Obama took office. The only interests that will matter to Hillary is corporate interests. It's time America gave Bernie a chance.
Clinton would beat Cruz but lose to Kasich, while Sanders would beat all three Republicans in November match-up

Hopefully Bernie's ratings go up then. He seems to be trailing behind.
