Does the job you have right now the kind of job you have been dreaming of?

I have many dream jobs when I was a kid and the one that I have right now is one of them but not my first love. I have been always dreaming of having a job that will allow me to travel the world so I thought of working in a ship; however, it does not happen because of my health. And now that I am an adult, I discovered that my job right now will still be able to help me fulfill my dreams.

Wow! That is amazing! Does it mean ever since you were a child you have that thinking? When I was a kid, I thought everyone must work under a boss.

I never thought I'd end up owning a real estate brokerage firm. Was never my dream at all. But i ended up with my very own office and people to command. And it makes me happy and accomplished.

I agree! There are also more wonderful things happening to me that I never imagined could happen. Life is full of surprises.

@annierose true. though i was born in a family of business people having our own money without really being employed, i didn't expect i'd end up in the same as my parents didn't wish the same for me.

I do not like to work in any job! However, I like the money that comes with a job, so I can invest and gain financial freedom sooner or later. I dearly wish to retire as soon as possible, and enjoy life.

It does happen sometimes. I remember when I was still a student, our instructor asked us to interview other teachers and ask them if being a teacher is their dream job. Some of them answered yes, while others answered no.

That's great. I have always wanted to be able to make a living with my writing. I did very well for a few years than things backed off and now I am trying something new. I am blogging.

I am hoping success in all your endeavors. By the way, did you send a friend request for me in BlogJob? I cannot do anything on that site now because of resources issues. I think perhaps, once I finished all my tasks this April then I can pay serious attention in Blogjob.

@whiteream Blogjob denied my membership. Perhaps it is because I haven't done anything yet to update my profile there or I haven't logged in for days.

It is a dream job because I practice law, though remotely. Also, it has lots of perks, not stressful, makes me happy and I'm my own boss.

Yes! It is wonderful to be your own boss. No pressures because you are the one handling your own time. No worries also for tardiness or commuting. And aside from that, no need to worry on what you wear.

I have the same thought. And until now I'm working on it.
