My family owns two dogs, cute little ones they are. They like to play with everyone and are very friendly. They don't bark on visitors or even strangers that pass our house. I suppose this two little fellows aren't fit for the job of being a guard dog. But the danger in our neighborhood is rising and we need someone to alarm as if an evil doer is at our stronghold(lol). Im thinking of buying a guard dog, but I cant seem to decide on what breed I should raise.
A loyal, smart, easy to train, and reliable guard dog is what we need. Any suggestions on what dog I should purchase?

Chihuahua can be very noisy and mini pinch too. But if you want people to get really scared and stay away, get a doberman or a rhott.

@PapaBits They are and they're not really the best pets, not even good for children. They're small but terrible.

You could just get an askal from the PAWS center in ortigas. or if you have a neighbor that has plenty of puppies, better buy one now and look for the mother.

My daughter is trying to buy a house and wants two Chihuahuas in it. I told her how yappy they are, but she is stubborn, can't imagine where that trait came from.
