Banana And Strawberry Jam

I just had half of a banana which I dipped in a little bit of strawberry jam. I love it that way and have done it since I was a little kid. Do any of my Mylot followers have this weird way of eating bananas? I also had a 12 grains toast with peanut butter, the crunchy one only for me. And the usual coffee and a small piece of Cheddar cheese. Everything hit the spot as I was pretty hungry this morning which is pretty rare. The fresh air and sun from yesterday must be the reason.

Nothing weird for me. I like a banana 'as it comes'.

@Drosophila - my poor mum and her disappointment. I'm off to visit this weekend. Must see if I can pick up a few more 'My mother and....' stories.

That sounds fine apart from the peanut butter, which does not appeal to me at all.

@marlina our country is rich in bananas, it's one of our main exports, we have lots of varieties, that it's even made into chips, desserts and even vegetables in a dish we call "pochero" we think of much weirder stuff to do with our bananas

I have never try that before, though I have heard people dipping bananas into chocolate syrup. I usually just eat bananas without adding anything to them. Your breakfast sounds good and healthy!

I don't always eat my bananas that way, I also like to eat it plain which is what I am doing right now. A little snack: l/1 banana with some tea.

Well I've had a peanut butter toast with jam and bananas so can relate- but not that way! I'm a smooth peanut butter eater- and I also love cheddar- only cheddar- cheese- with jam. I love other cheeses but would never add jam. I would also eat jam and bacon. So that's my weird contribution

I actually like banana sandwiches with mayonnaise on the bread. Yummy. The only time I can eat bananas is when I crave them. This tells me that my body needs the potassium. When I have had enough I get sick from eating them. They were once one of my favorite fruits.
