Yesterdays Outing

We spent most of the day in Jackson at the city wide yard sale and had fun.
The kids bought a lot of stuff, found some things for my other son and found some books for me.
The Fire Station also had a very long table set up and had lots of sale items and they wanted to show off their new fire station.
Some of the pictures did not turn out very well but this one was kind of neat it is in front of the firehouse.
We stopped at Santee Crossing and had some dinner before coming home.
I went to bed early but I have to say it was a beautiful day yesterday, just right for a yard sale.

There were really good deals and some people who were down to almost nothing were giving things away. So we also received some items for no money.

@Marcyaz that's even better, when I had garage sales I would often do that, at the end I'd just say make me an offer and then put up a sign that said, please take me home for free and come back in an hour to box up and donate whatever was still left

I love yard sales and digging thru old things and piles of junk, picking things to resell is one of my hobbie, past time as well as source of income

You would have loved this sale and the free items were good also. I am sure that some of the items could be resold as most items were very inexpensive is why I love these types of sales.

Thanks some finds were really good and others were even better. I think Jackson has the better yard sales and prices in the whole area.
