I am having a knee replacement June 6th and trying to freeze some thing ahead of time for hubby while I am in rehab and when I come home.
So far I have chosen Nine Bean Soup, spaghetti, lasagna, enchiladas and meatloaf.
Any suggestion of grear recipes or items to make would be appreciate.

@Margielynn Your very welcome... Cottage Pie is the same as shepherds pie, but made with beef mince instead of lamb mince. You can add grated cheese to the top of the mash if desired. could also do a chilli if he likes spicy food.

Most casserole type dishes freeze well. Does your husband cook at all?

I love to do Salisbury steak as a freezer meal. Cranberry BBQ chicken (we had that last night) and pulled pork can be done really easily in a crockpot, as can chicken teriyaki. I've also done chicken gnocchi soup as a freezer meal. It's a tad more complex, though.

How about some veggie stew? Good luck on the knee replacement operation and recovery/rehab .
