Bacon pudding is basically... Suet pastry, which you roll out and then you lay rashers of bacon all over the flat pastry, and onions, I also sprinkle dried sage all over the bacon and onions.... You then roll it up like a huge sausage roll, wrap it in greaseproof paper and foul and you can either steam it, put it in the oven or boil it. I tend to fill a roasting pan with water and put a grill on top and put bacon pudding on that so it steams in the oven. Depending on the size, you will need to cook it for about an hour. Once it's cooked you can serve it with vegetables and onion sauce. It's really nice, because it's made with suet pastry you don't really need potatoes so an easy meal and super tasty
