Good afternoon to all the local myLotters out there! Good day as well to the other myLotters located in other parts of the world. Hope everyone's day has been fine so far. Time for some lunch. Well, I skipped the rice and decided to go for some ramen burger. Uhmmm... yeah, after all this time, I decided to give in. The ramen burger debuted in New York a couple of years ago and there were a lot of copy cats here in Manila just after a few months. I never really thought of it as something special and for the longest time, I never really wanted to try it... that is until today. It was ok. Nothing to write home about...oh wait... I'm writing about it now. LOL! Anyway, instead of the sauce being spread on the burger and buns, I asked the restaurant to put the sauce in the side as I wanted to 'pimp' my own burger. I mixed equal parts mustard, mayo, and hot sauce and boom!!! Presenting allen0187 's very own Ramen Yeah Men! Burger !!! Trademarks pending!!! LOL! Saw online a recipe on how to make the ramen buns, I guess , I'll try that tomorrow or perhaps next week or perhaps never. The ramen burger... who would have thought that something as iconic as a burger can still evolve into something so different as a ramen burger...At least, drinks stayed the same or did it??!!! Wasabi soda anyone? Would you try a different variation of the food you usually have?

I have never tried the ramen burger yet, but I love to try a different variation of foods. I actually explore the local restos here in my province. I am planning to make a blog about it.

I do. I like trying out unusual things. Why do you think you got my attention? My favourite burger is wasabi burger. Sadly, it's no longer being served in a pizza place that i go to. A few weeks ago, I had an opportunity to chat with the owner at a spa and told him how much i loved his wasabi burger and how greatly disappointed i was that it's no longer up in the menu. He told me it wasn't saleable as the rest of his food. It was probably because of the WASABI! So i told him to change the name of the burger and put it back in the menu.

Nah. It is a photo from a photo sharing site. Speaking of big burgers, moderation is always the key so if I order a burger that is good for more than one person, I'll most likely cut it in half, finish one half, and save the other half for later.

Calorie-wise, I think there really isn't much difference between a burger and a clubhouse sandwich. Why are you on a diet?

That is a favorite of mine. It is a shame that they do not have other branches here in the city.

I'm not sure they are something that I'd try. It can be interesting adjusting recipes to suit your own tastes.

Agree. Once you are used to the taste of one dish, you are most likely to expect the same when the same dish is served.
